Alex Panagiotidis – Chief Operating Officer
Alex has 7 years of financial markets and operations experience. Alex graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business. Throughout his career, Alex has been involved in a broad range of investments and operations. During the years 1999 and 2000, Alex worked for Excel Maritime Carriers (NYSE: EXM) as an operations associate and for Optima Shipbrokers S/A as a chartering assistant. He later was involved in the formation of Beltest Shipping Company Ltd. (www.beltest.com) where he was exposed to a variety of investments from private equity to major stakes of public companies. In 2005, Alex joined Credit Suisse as an analyst in the Fund-of-Funds Investment Management Group.
